Fundraising for the new playpark in Rothes has gone very well, with terrific support from the community and local businesses. Trusts and Foundations have also been inspired by this imaginative scheme. The organisers are absolutely delighted to have raised the funds and can now confirm both project 1 and 2 of the playpark refurbishment will be completed by summer 2022. Kompan, the contractors, will start on site in March 2022 after the removal of old equipment and bark pits. A new picnic area with benches will also be installed and perimeter fencing will complete the project, to be fitted by local contractors. The Trust have been delighted to follow the success of this popular local project.
